Dry food - practical and wholesome
Feeding with dry food is very practical and safe. We recommend the Tales & Tails brand. It is not completely "dry" but rather semi-moist. This gives less chance of food mites, is much more readily accepted by dogs and is also much better for slightly weaker teeth such as seniors, puppies, sick or skinny dogs. Our first experience with Tales&Tails is probably the same for many customers: Our Bella really struggled with dry food and didn't like it that much, she then much preferred the better quality food from the pet shop - and the T&T food was then gobbled down as if it were a bowl full of treats! We now save money on treats completely - we just put a handful of Lunderland in the treat bag for playing or dog training!
A big advantage of Tales&Tails is that they don't offer bags larger than 4kg. A purchase of 12 kg then consists of 3 x 4 kg bags. This means that food mites and spoilage caused by food bags standing around unsealed for too long don't stand a chance!
