Materials Only fabrics in which the cotton content is certified in accordance with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) are used. The unique M7-T material composition guarantees uncomplicated washability at 95°C. This gives you the security of a clean lying surface again and again for complete purity without microorganisms, mould or mites. Outer fabric: Cotton blended fabric long-staple cotton UV-resistant, 300g/sqm basis weight Dry-Fit-Comfort Fabrics manufactured in the EU free of harmful substances according to Ökotex 100 (test no. 08-6223 Shirley) Filling: patented filling Dry-Fit-Comfort, breathable Back-to-Shape-Function Manufacturer quality Only twill fabric with a 3/1 weave is used in the manufacture of all items. This type of weave is extremely dense, robust and hard-wearing. The fabric is ironed at 3 bar pressure and over 100°C before cutting. This makes it even smoother and moisture rolls off better. Dirt and dog hair can be shaken off more easily. For cutting, the fabrics are panelled and checked again for faults. The subsequent cutting is done by hand, as fabric shifts and inaccuracies cannot be avoided when cutting by machine, whereas these errors are eliminated when cutting by hand. As the seams are exposed to high stresses, we use the complex but stable topstitching process to join the various components together. Finally, all products are checked by hand and with great care so that our customers are provided with a perfect product. WASHING and CARE All Doctor Bark dog blankets are washed as a WHOLE at 95˚C, not just the coveras with standard dog blankets. Procedure: Preparation: Please shake the hair and coarse dirt out of your Doctor Bark dog blanket. If it is very hairy, simply use a hoover. This is also to protect your washing machine. If necessary, we recommend pretreating stubborn stains with a stain spray or a microfibre cloth. Please turn dog beds inside out. This means that the inside corners are turned outwards and the dirt hidden there can be easily washed out. Washing: Are you using the Doctor Bark Textile Wash & Care product? Then please pour 50 ml of this detergent into the detergent compartment. If you are using a conventional mild detergent, please follow the manufacturer's dosage instructions. Please ensure that your detergent does not contain fabric softener or silicone remover. To restore the full volume of the Doctor Bark dog bed filling after washing, please use wash balls or normal tennis balls. This works wonders. Select the basic setting "gentle cycle" with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm. Drying: Gently shake out your Doctor Bark dog bed as you would a down duvet. Then place the dog bed in the tumble dryer together with the wash or tennis balls. Select the "gentle drying" setting. Your Doctor Bark dog bed will of course also dry without a tumble dryer. For air drying, choose a warm and well-ventilated place so that your dog bed is dry again within 3-4 hours. Shake your dog bed well several times during the air-drying process and keep pulling it slightly into shape.
