Organic or not organic...
Pesticides in nuts - not bad for our children (because they have long since been degraded in the end product), but bad for children and farmers in the so-called Third World!

I have just seen the current report in the Weltspiegel in which it is revealed that South American children are poisoning themselves with pesticides which are used for the nuts that later end up in Nutella!
Many of my acquaintances and relatives will now make the usual fatalistic comment that I often hear at this point: "But you can't eat anything anymore, every day another report, so just don't think about it, you'll only be cheated anyway!"
As a nutritionist, I can't understand that. There is a good alternative for almost all bad products, this fatalism is often just an excuse for one's own convenience.
There are also first-class alternatives for the aforementioned chocolate cream. My favourite spread has been Samba for years, with a much higher percentage of hazelnuts, and it's organic too!
(No, I don't get any money for this link, which is why I don't have to declare it as advertising. This post came about quite spontaneously).
In addition, as an ecotrophologist, I can describe this cream as a valuable food with a little sugar because of the very high nut content; unfortunately, Nutella and Co. are by definition only classified as sweets.
