We are therefore protecting ourselves from now on and not only sending customers the shipping confirmation.
They can view the shipment tracking in their customer account anyway, provided a customer account has been set up.
From now on, we will also send customers proof of delivery as soon as we receive it or can determine it!
Unfortunately, DHL deletes the tracking number after 3 months. This is completely incomprehensible to us and a sign of very poor service; we need to be able to prove delivery for much longer.
For this reason, we are now also sending customers the text of the shipment tracking number and the shipping email will be archived so that we have watertight proof of delivery, even if a customer asks where their parcel is after 9 months.
