What is St. Helia's Vitamin B Complex?
St. Helia's Vitamin B Complex combines all 8 B vitamins extracted from the natural source of buckwheat germ, making it completely free from yeast and gluten.
Vitamin B complex - with buckwheat germ extract and all 8 B vitamins
B vitamins are usually obtained from yeast. St. Helia Vitamin B Complex uses a unique patented buckwheat extract. This is of much higher quality and is much more suitable for allergy sufferers than yeast. This type of formulation also promotes the absorption of vitamins. Some studies have shown that the absorption of vitamins from food is more favourable than that of isolated vitamins. Many such products can be found in our Food State brand range, for example. Here is an example of a study where this is proven for folic acid, added to buckwheat extract. As can be read, folic acid is absorbed more slowly and for longer and reaches higher concentrations in the blood than folic acid alone.
Nutritive properties
- Vitamins B2, B3, B6 and B12 support the normal function of the nervous system and help to reduce tiredness and fatigue
- Vitamin B7 (biotin) contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair

What does manufacturer/marketer mean?
Every seller must indicate on the goods and also in the online shop the address of a responsible person established in the EU, usually this is the manufacturer.
In general, it does not matter which term you use, they are synonymous. The legislator prefers the term "distributor", but dealers usually use the more "handy" term "manufacturer".
However, it can happen that a non-EU manufacturer does not have a responsible person on EU territory. In that case, one has the choice of not offering such a good product at all or taking responsibility oneself, e.g. for service questions from customers. St. Helia does not have an address outside Switzerland, so we indicate ourselves as the distributor and are also responsible for any questions about the product.
