Tocotrienols - the more effective form of vitamin E

Chemically speaking, tocotrienols differ from vitamin E tocopherols only in the side chain. While the side chains of vitamin E tocopherols are completely saturated, tocotrienols have a triple unsaturated side chain. These unsaturated double bonds lead to a significantly higher activity in tocotrienols. Tocotrienol is more agile, allowing it to rotate and move in the cell membrane and move beyond one cell membrane into other cell membranes.

Astaxanthin vegan from algae

Astaxanthin is a natural pigment that belongs to the xanthophyll class of carotenoids. It is responsible for the red colouring of crustaceans and is obtained from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis. Astaxanthin is structurally related to the well-known carotenoids ß-carotene, zeaxanthin and lutein, and thus shares many of the metabolic and physiological functions attributed to carotenoids. When the algae is exposed to high levels of UV light, it produces very large amounts of astaxanthin to protect itself from injury.

Acerola with 17% natural vitamin C

This product contains natural acerola cherry fruit powder with a 17% natural vitamin C content. The acerola cherry provides 30 times as much vitamin C as a lemon. The cherry, which is native to the tropics, has the second highest content of natural vitamin C after camu camu. In contrast to ascorbic acid, acerola vitamin C contains other natural plant substances. These additional antioxidants, known as secondary plant substances, in the acerola cherry enhance the natural vitamin C content.

Acai is rich in polyphenols

The acai palm grows in large numbers throughout the Amazon region, right up to the coast of Brazil. The acai contained here has at least 6000 mg of polyphenols (antioxidants) per 100 g of acai fruit powder extract.
