Laboratory chemical analysis to determine the stress hormone cortisol in the daily profile
Hormones are messenger substances that are finely tuned to each other and fulfil a variety of functions in the human body. From fertility to mood regulation to energy and water balance - they are involved in almost all processes in the body. Hormonal balance is therefore of great importance for our well-being.
Cortisol is an endogenous hormone that is increasingly released from the adrenal cortex during stress. It activates various stress-induced symptoms such as an increased respiratory and heart rate, inhibits inflammatory processes and promotes the supply of energy.
Chronic stress can lead to an excess of cortisol concentration. Laboratory analysis is one way of determining stress levels on the basis of the cortisol profile.
The stress profile includes the determination of the daily cortisol profile. This is done in 5 determinations.

How does the ordering process work?

You place your sample in a tube and send it in a prepared envelope to Medivere's partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN DIAGNOSTICS AG. You will receive a report with the evaluation of your profile after approx. 10-14 working days.
