Spermidine is found in the body cells of all living organisms
It is a molecule that was first discovered in sperm cells, which is how it got its name. Spermidine can be formed as a product of the conversion of L-arginine and L-orthinine, but it can also be ingested through food. Spermidine is found particularly in mature cheeses such as cheddar, mushrooms and soya beans. The highest concentration is found in wheat germ. This is why WOSCHA Spermidin also contains high-quality, concentrated wheat germ extract.
Lecithin from sunflowers has been added to WOSCHA Spermidin instead of soya beans. Lecithin also contributes the substance choline to the preparation, which is essential for the formation of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, for example. Thanks to its powder form, WOSCHA Spermidin is easy to take with juices, muesli, smoothies or soups.
WOSCHA Spermidine is a particularly good companion during demanding phases, high physical exertion or in old age.
