This high-quality blend of plant extracts gets its name from the schisandra berry it contains. The small red fruit was already highly valued in traditional Chinese herbalism during the Ming Dynasty and is still regarded today as a veritable treasure trove of positive properties. What is special about it is that it has 5 flavours at the same time. It can therefore be described as bitter, sweet, salty and pungent. In traditional Chinese herbalism, these flavours represent the 5 elements of TCM, making the berry particularly beneficial for our well-being in a variety of ways. It is said to have a harmonising and balancing effect, especially in stressful phases. The recipe, which is based on the Chinese "Tian Wan Bu Xin Dan", is further enhanced by wild thorn cherry seeds and rehamnia roots, among other things.
