Niacin (vitamin B3) in best tolerability
Niacin is also known as vitamin B3 and is present in most of our cells. The body can produce niacin itself through the amino acid tryptophan. However, excessive alcohol consumption, an unhealthy diet or burns/injuries can lead to a niacin deficiency. In these cases in particular, care should be taken to ensure an adequate supply.
WOSCHA Niacin flush free - is characterised by its very good tolerability. By using the vitamin B3 form inositol hexanicotinate, niacin is released with a time delay and thus prevents the so-called flush effect. The flush effect occurs primarily with pure niacin, which has a vasodilating effect and can therefore lead to reddening of the skin and feelings of heat. The added vitamin B6 not only increases bioavailability, but is also essential for the synthesis of tryphtophan into niacin. The zinc it contains is also responsible for optimised bioavailability.
