NDR 760 mg vitamin B3 and D-ribose, 60 tablets

Niacin and D-ribose = detonator and fuel!

Some may think, what a bold thesis. But on the other hand, D-ribose is a naturally occurring sugar molecule that is required to synthesise adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the primary energy source for cells. It is a building block of ATP and supports the replenishment of energy stores in cells, especially after intensive physical activity. Vitamins are there to stimulate and regulate the body's own processes. And vitamin B3 is the vitamin responsible for the energy balance. So the comparison is not so far-fetched!

Scientists are currently working intensively on different variants of vitamin B3, such as nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and nicotinamide riboside (NR). Even the media have taken up NMN. It is often overlooked that nicotinamide has just as important a function in the formation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) as NMN and NR. NAD plays a crucial role as an intermediate in our energy metabolism.

The far more common form of vitamin B3 is nicotinamide, which is why it is much more favourable compared to NMN. In contrast to NMN, nicotinamide is also officially authorised as a dietary supplement due to its many years of proven effectiveness. The long-term use of NMN has not yet been sufficiently researched, which is why it is not currently authorised for sale.

NDR 760 mg from Vitals contains RiaGev-SR® from the US manufacturer Bioenergy Life Science. Each tablet provides a generous amount of the proven nicotinamide, fortified with D-ribose in a patented ratio, in the form of vitamin B3. Vitamin B3 is known to help release energy from nutrients (fats, carbohydrates and protein). It can help reduce fatigue and provide energy. In addition, vitamin B3 is essential for a well-functioning nervous system and memory.

Our energy metabolism: a highly complex system of chemical reactions

Who can't use a little extra energy from time to time? You can generate a lot of mental energy yourself by doing things you enjoy. To function optimally, our body needs food as a daily source of energy. Our cells contain mitochondria, which act as the cell's power stations. This is where nutrients such as sugar and fatty acids are converted by a reaction with oxygen into adenosine triphosphate (ATP): the universal fuel of the human body.
Our body's energy metabolism is a highly complex and sophisticated system of chemical reactions of all kinds. Various substances (including coenzymes and enzymes) are important in this process. The body produces some of these substances on its own. Others, such as vitamin B3, are obtained exclusively from food.

Vitamin B3 helps the enzymes to produce energy.

It is a group of different related compounds, including nicotinamide (also known as niacinamide), nicotinic acid (also known as niacin) and nicotinamide riboside (abbreviated NR). A precursor of one of the most important coenzymes in our organism, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), is vitamin B3. A coenzyme helps an enzyme to carry out a chemical reaction correctly. NAD is primarily involved in reactions that are necessary for the production of energy from fats, carbohydrates and proteins.

NAD's crucial importance Here we delve a little deeper and take a closer look at the important function of NAD. NAD is unique in that it is found in all foods. NAD captures the electrons produced during the conversion of nutrients (together with hydrogen ions), producing the electron-rich NADH, where the H stands for hydrogen. NADH then transports these electrons to the place where they are released. Finally, a further chain reaction results in the universal energy source ATP. The body needs ATP to carry out all the processes necessary for its proper functioning.

NAD is used and consumed in certain reactions in the organism. It is therefore important that we consume enough vitamin B3 every day. Unfortunately, the efficiency of the body's own NAD production decreases with age. Nicotinamide, a form of vitamin B3, is also converted into NMN in the body in a similar way to NR, from which NAD is produced.

RiaGev-SR®: a patented mixture of nicotinamide and D-ribose NDR 760 mg from Vitals contains RiaGev-SR® from the US producer Bioenergy Life Science. "NDR" is the abbreviation for nicotinamide and D-ribose. The slow-release tablet (SR = slow release) offers a combination of vitamin B3 and D-ribose in a patented ratio. D-ribose, a monosaccharide, can be synthesised in the body from glucose, among other things. Together with nicotinamide, D-ribose forms the component NAD. Molecules such as DNA and ATP also contain D-ribose. It is therefore present in all body cells. Bioenergy Life Science has investigated this specific combination in a promising study with humans.

E-Mail: kundendienst@vitals.eu.
