Mixture of prebiotic dietary fibres
Prebiotics are indigestible components in food, i.e. dietary fibres that serve as food for the intestinal bacteria. They promote the multiplication and metabolic activity of intestinal bacteria. The water-soluble dietary fibres in NATUR VITAL MULTI-FIBRE COMPLEX are provided by acacia fibres, marshmallow root, apple pectin, FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) and arabinogalactans.
Health-promoting role of dietary fibre in the body
Water-soluble dietary fibres support the growth and balance of bacteria in the digestive tract. They provide food for our intestinal bacteria, which ferment them. The end products of this process are short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) such as butyric acid (butyrate). These in turn serve as fuel for our intestinal cells (enterocytes) and support the integrity of the intestinal mucosa.
Fibre also fulfils other functions in the digestive tract:
- They delay gastric emptying and increase satiety.
- They increase the stool volume and shorten the intestinal transit time and cause a softer stool consistency.
- They delay glucose absorption and thus avoid high peaks in the blood sugar curve
- They bind secondary bile acids and discharge them into the toilet. As these are formed in the liver from cholesterol, they help to remove excess cholesterol from the body.
- They train the peritoneal and intestinal mucosa, as these now have to work harder, thus promoting blood circulation and strengthening them.
- They also bind ammonia in the intestines and heavy metals in food,
- both of which are good for the kidneys and liver, reducing the burden on them.
What makes Natur Vital Multi-Fibre Complex special
It is beneficial to use a variety of prebiotics such as those provided in NATUR VITAL MULTI-FIBRE COMPLEX. The prebiotics have different chain lengths and structures that are fermented by different bacterial strains and therefore support a more diverse microbiome.
When is there a risk of fibre deficiency?
The reasons for a lack of fibre intake are unfavourable eating habits, such as the high consumption of industrially processed foods, for example white flour products. Added to this is the excessive consumption of animal products, combined with too little plant-based fruit and vegetables.
A high-fibre diet should contain at least 30 g of fibre per day. However, only 6% of the population achieve this fibre recommendation of the DGE (German Nutrition Society). It therefore makes sense for the majority of the population to take regular fibre supplements.

Notes from EnergyVital
After taking antibiotics, the intestinal flora is usually impaired or has disappeared completely, as these often also kill the intestinal bacteria. After discontinuing antibiotics, it therefore makes sense to ensure that the new bacteria that colonise again are really "good" intestinal bacteria and not the wrong ones. It therefore makes sense to eat more fermented vegetables or acidified dairy products and not so much meat.
This process can also be optimally supported with the intake of dietary fibres such as Multi-Fibre Complex and the corresponding "good" bacteria as contained in Natur Vital Colovit.

Favourite product of therapists
Natur Vital products are often recommended by naturopathic therapists for their patients.
The patented "Food State" process draws on nature to renaturalise vitamins and minerals, with the result that the body can recognise and utilise them like a wholesome food. By integrating them into a natural nutrient matrix of the plant or lactic acid bacteria, the micronutrients are present in a natural combination and ensure the best possible biological availability in the body. They therefore only need to be taken in low doses and are extremely well tolerated.
Natur Vital products are hypoallergenic and contain no unnecessary additives or excipients. They are free from wheat, gluten, soya, lactose, sugar, synthetic colourings and sweeteners, flavourings and preservatives.
They are manufactured in accordance with the EU guidelines for food supplements and the GMP guidelines (Good Manufacturing Practice) in Germany and England.
