Important ingredients of Longlife Granatum are the antioxidant polyphenols, also known as secondary plant substances. These special plant substances give the pomegranate its unique effect and flavour.
A new ingredient is the green tea leaves. These are catechins, the most important representatives of which are epicatechin (EC), epicatechin gallate (ECG), epigallocatechin (EGC) and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Most of the antioxidant effects of green tea are attributed to the catechins. In particular, the polyphenols naturally contained in some types of tea (especially epigallocatechin gallate, EGCG) are thought to be responsible for a preventative effect.
What is the point of this product without vitamin K2?
In our offers you can see that the same product is also offered with vitamin K2. For most people, especially older people, this would be the better choice.
Vitamin K2 has a blood-thinning effect, which is generally favourable.
However, people who already have very thin blood, e.g. because they are taking blood-thinning medication (e.g. after a heart attack) should definitely consult their doctor, as the amount of vitamin K2 taken must be coordinated with the amount of medication! Otherwise the blood-thinning effects add up too much, which can lead to dangerous bleeding.
The same applies to people who already have a greater tendency to bleed due to illness or similar.
These people should consult their doctor before taking vitamin K2 or, to be on the safe side, choose this product without K2.
