EPA and DHA - the "good" fatty acids
EPA and DHA are omega-3 fatty acids. These are mainly found in sea fish and are a key reason why fish is considered so healthy. As essential fatty acids, omega-3 must be ingested through food. The supply of omega-3 is of great importance for our well-being and development, even for the foetus and into old age (see nutritional properties).

WOSCHA High EPA/DHA contains high-quality concentrated GOLDEN OMEGA® fish oil from sustainable fishing, which is subject to regular controls and is certified.
The production process at GOLDEN OMEGA® guarantees pharmaceutical quality (GMP certificate) and an extremely pure fish oil as a result. The levels of organic impurities are so low that they are well below the EU limits. The proportion of trans fatty acids in this product is just as low.
Nutritive properties
- DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and to the maintenance of normal vision (these positive effects occur with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA)
- EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function (these positive effects occur with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA + EPA)
- Replacing saturated fatty acids with monounsaturated and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels
- Vitamin E helps to protect cells from oxidative stress
