The quality of our drinking water is strictly controlled by the Drinking Water Ordinance. However, this control does not include the private drinking water system, as it stops at the house connection. Hazards that occur within the domestic drinking water system are therefore often not noticed.

The concentration of heavy metals in drinking water should be checked in order to minimise potential health risks for consumers. Heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic should not be ingested in high concentrations and can cause long-term health problems if they are present in high levels in drinking water. Regular checks of heavy metal concentrations help to ensure that drinking water complies with the applicable limits and quality standards and is therefore safe for human consumption. Through this control, potential exposure to harmful heavy metals can be minimised to protect people's health.

You place your sample in a tube and send it in a prepared envelope to Medivere's partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN DIAGNOSTICS AG. You will receive a report with the evaluation of your profile after approx. 10-14 working days.
