How GR10 Ultra supports intestinal health
GR10 Ultra is a dietary supplement that supports the regeneration of the intestinal microbiome after antibiotic therapy.
The purpose of antibiotic therapy is to rid the intestine of all pathogenic germs, but unfortunately the "good" ones also disappear during this procedure.
Once the antibiotics have been discontinued, the intestines recolonise. It is now important to ensure that it is colonised with "good" bacteria and not with "bad" bacteria.
The source of bad bacteria can be, for example, an unhealthy diet or a partner who has bad intestinal flora (and passes it on through everyday contact or, for example, kissing). The same applies to children and pets, from whom you also automatically catch germs during recolonisation, in the worst case less good ones.
The gut is a huge ecosystem with more bacteria than there are stars in the universe and a small proportion of these always consist of "bad" bacteria.
The aim is therefore not to drive out 100% of the bad ones, because that is not possible, but to keep the mass of "good" bacteria, as contained in Gr10-Ultra, so large that the "bad" ones are suppressed and no longer have any effect.
The lactic acid bacteria contained are real all-rounders when it comes to regenerating the microbiome after antibiotic therapy. Each of the 10 selected strains has specific tasks in rebuilding an intact, high-performance intestinal flora.
The bifidobacteria B. bifidum, B. breve, B. lactis and B. longum are essential components of healthy intestinal flora. They populate the gut from birth and make up a large proportion of the microorganisms in the large intestine in adulthood [1]. Once they reach their destination, they process indigestible carbohydrates such as dietary fibre into short-chain fatty acids [2]. They not only act as an energy source for the intestinal mucosa, but also as inhibitors of the growth of potentially pathogenic germs [3]. The beneficial bifidobacteria thus create an environment in which other helpful intestinal inhabitants can thrive and colonise.
The representatives of the genus Lactobacillus are regarded as true all-rounders in the field of intestinal health. L. acidophilus, L. casei, L. paracasei, L. plantarum and L. rhamnosus can convert lactose into lactic acid and thus positively influence the pH value in the gut [4]. Research has shown that carefully selected Lactobacillus strains can accelerate the recovery of the microbiome after an antibiotic disruption [5,6]. They help maintain diversity, promote beneficial symbionts and improve gut barrier function [7].
The spectrum of GR10 Ultra is complemented by Streptococcus thermophilus. This bacterium is particularly well known in yoghurt production, where it thickens the milk together with Lactobacillus bulgaricus. In the intestine, S. thermophilus helps to counteract a change in the microbiota composition caused by antibiotics [8]. It favours the colonisation of other lactic acid bacteria and thus contributes to a diverse microbiome [9].
The 10 bacterial cultures in GR10 Ultra work together to provide comprehensive and holistic support for the natural regeneration processes of the gut. A healthy balance of the intestinal flora is restored more quickly by promoting beneficial bacteria and inhibiting harmful microbes. This not only benefits digestion, but also the intestinal-massociated immune system, which is dependent on an intact intestinal barrier and a stable microbiome [10].
GR10 Ultra - Effective help for your intestinal flora
The 10 selected bacterial strains work synergistically to restore and stabilise the intestinal ecosystem that has been disrupted following antibiotic treatment. The careful processing in DR Caps ensures that the sensitive microorganisms are effective where they are needed. GR10 Ultra not only promotes digestion and intestinal health, but also makes a significant contribution to strengthening the immune system. The preparation restores your intestinal flora quickly and reliably with a daily dose of 14 billion microorganisms - for a better inner well-being.
The DRcaps® capsules, which are enteric-coated and vegan, protect the lactic acid bacteria from stomach acid so that they only develop their full effect in the intestine.
GR10-Lactis with 10 strains of lactic acid bacteria
Lactic acid bacteria make it possible to produce cheese, yoghurt, buttermilk or crème fraîche from milk. GR10-Lactis is ideal for long-term consumption, even for people with lactose intolerance, as it contains 10 different strains registered in the German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (DSMZ):
- Bifidobacterium bifidum (LA13040®)
- Bifidobacterium breve (LA13050®)
- Bifidobacterium lactis (LA13070®)
- Bifidobacterium longum (LA13080®)
- Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA13100®)
- Lactobacillus casei (LA13120®)
- Lactobacillus paracasei (LA13190®)
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus (LA13220®)
- Lactobacillus plantarum (LA13200®)
- Streptococcus thermophilus (LA13290®)
"Live lactic acid cultures" do not have a long shelf life and must be consumed quickly. In order to guarantee a minimum shelf life of 18 months, the bacterial cultures of WOSCHA GR10-Lactis are therefore gently freeze-dried in a matrix of vegan material. The enteric-coated DRcaps® ensure that the bacteria survive the gastrointestinal passage undamaged and only dissolve in the lower small intestine, where they are brought back to life.
The added dietary fibre inulin consists of short-chain polysaccharides, fructooligosaccharides (also known as oligofructoses).
Significantly improved 2025!
Each capsule is guaranteed to contain 14 billion lactic acid bacteria by the best-before date. Previously there were 3 billion per capsule, and even then the product was of very high quality and had been very popular for years under the brand name Woscha Gr.10-Latis. Now it is unbeatable, the small price increase is much lower than the increase in quality with the new edition under the Podomedi brand natura felix!

High-quality formulations from the Netherlands
podo medi's products are significantly influenced by the naturopathic experience of its co-founder Wolfgang P. Schallmey. As a naturopath and expert in orthemolecular therapy, he created his own brand WOSCHA nutritional supplements, which are based on years of experience and a holistic philosophy. In addition to high quality, effectiveness and good tolerability, WOSCHA products are characterised by a lack of additives, which are added in other preparations for cheaper production. WOSCHA products are made from fresh and genetically unmodified raw materials and are available in their purest form. In addition, podo medi pays attention to sustainable packaging and shipping. For example, the product cans are made of harmless PET and recyclable material. Woscha and natura felix are brands of Podomedi.
