Jeden Tag 50+ for people over 50 who prefer capsules instead of tablets

Jeden Tag 50+ capsules contain the same dosages per two capsules as the product Jeden Tag 50+ tablets, with the exception of vitamin C (100 mg instead of 200 mg), calcium (30 mg instead of 150 mg) and magnesium (30 mg instead of 100 mg). These are dosed lower in the capsules, more in one tablet than in two capsules.

The body's nutritional requirements change over the years. For example, the need for iron and copper decreases. Everyday 50+ therefore contains neither iron nor copper. What men and women in this age group need, however, is additional vitamin B12 and sufficient folic acid (folate), among other things to support mental performance and memory. Higher doses of K2 and D3 are also important for this age group. A diet rich in calcium or, if this is not possible, e.g. for milk allergy sufferers, calcium supplements should be taken. Ideally combined with magnesium, as Ca and Mg should be taken in the same ratio. This ratio is optimal in Sango coral powder, for example.

B vitamins in optimal doses

Every day 50+ capsules contain 150 μg vitamin B12 in the biological forms methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These are much better than the cyanocobalamin added to many food supplements and medicines. This is cheap, which is nice for the manufacturers, but less nice is that, for example, a small amount of cyanide is released when it is utilised in the body, as the name suggests.
Methylcobalamin is much better because the body hardly needs to metabolise it, and it can be found in many very good food supplements today. Adenosylcobalamin is even better than methylcobalamin, but is also considerably more expensive. So it is all the more pleasing that it has been added to Every Day 50+.

The folic acid is given as 5-methyltetrarofolate in the capsule, a form that can be utilised by all people, including the 50% who, due to a widespread metabolic peculiarity, cannot utilise the "normal" folic acid that is added to less good food supplements.

High doses of vitamin D3 and K2

Vitamin K helps to ensure that the calcium ends up in the right place, namely in the bones. This is important for this age group. Every day 50+ contains 45 μg K1 (phytomenadione) and no less than 90 μg vitamin K2. Vitamin D is also important for this age group and is particularly important for bone health to prevent age-related osteoporosis.

Ingredients

Rice flour (Oryza sativa), minerals (magnesium, calcium, zinc, silicon, selenium, molybdenum, boron, manganese, iodine), vitamins (C, E, B3, B5, D3, K2, B6, B2, B1, A, K1, folic acid, B12, biotin), vegetable capsule (pullulan, from fermented manioc starch), choline bitartrate, anti-caking agent (calcium salts of fatty acids), lutein, Q10, mixed tocopherols, meso-zeaxanthin, citrus bioflavonoid complex, alpha-lipoic acid, pterostilbene, zeaxanthin, Dunaliella salina, pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt (PQQ).

Recommended dosage

Take 2 capsules per day with water with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. This food supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 10 years of age (mandatory information for products containing more than 20 μg vitamin D per daily dose).

Caution

As this product contains vitamin K, it is not suitable for simultaneous use with coumarin derivatives (anticoagulants such as acenocoumarol and phenprocoumon). These medicines are also known as vitamin K antagonists and their effectiveness is reduced by the intake of vitamin K through food and food supplements.

This food supplement should only be consumed by adults, with the exception of pregnant and breastfeeding women.
