The angelica recipe "Shen tong zhu yu tang"
The ingredients used in Cythula 12 are based on the Chinese recipe "Shen tong zhu yu tang". This angelica blend was already served as a flavoursome tea in the Qing dynasty. The valuable composition was primarily used to relax the body and alleviate physical imbalances. Digestion is also said to be positively influenced by angelica root. Cythula 12 is made particularly exquisite by the addition of wild saffron flowers. The saffron spice is known as the most expensive spice in the world due to its value.
