Bromelain from pineapple - 100% vegan and natural
Bromelain refers to active protein-splitting enzymes extracted from pineapples. Indigenous peoples used pineapples primarily for the benefit of digestion. This product does not contain any animal products and utilises 100% of the power of nature. It is therefore also ideal for vegans.
Incidentally, the highest bromelain content is found in the pineapple stalk, which is usually thrown away. It is therefore worth eating it if you like pineapple! As enzymes are sensitive to heat, only use fresh fruit, not tinned pineapple.
The time of intake makes all the difference
If you take the tablets with food, e.g. with a heavy lunch, the enzymes help with digestion. They are consumed and excreted and do not enter the bloodstream.
If taken at a greater time interval from the meal, they can continue to unfold their benefits in the body.
