Magnesium threonate - a mineral salt of magnesium bound to the amino acid L-threonic acid
Magnesium threonate is a mineral salt consisting of magnesium bound to the amino acid L-threonic acid. Magnesium L-threonate has the unique ability to cross the blood-brain barrier in humans and thereby increase magnesium levels in the brain.
For this reason, Brain-Mag® is not just a magnesium supplement, but a "brain-friendly" dietary supplement.
Magnesium in general is an essential mineral that plays a key role in over 300 processes necessary for a healthy body. But not all magnesium is easily absorbed by the brain.

Recommended intake
